Packages currently start from €7,000 for the surgical fee and a malleable device, and rise with the implant, the hospital and the accommodation you choose. Those figures are indicative. This page explains what sits behind them so you can compare quotations honestly rather than by headline number alone.

What actually changes the price
A quotation is only comparable if you know which of these it covers. Two prices that look far apart often differ because one of them stops at the operation.
Which implant is used
The device is the single largest variable. Inflatable devices cost more than malleable ones, and the three brands differ in price. The device should be chosen clinically, then priced — not the other way round.
The surgeon
A fixed surgical fee covers the operation, the preoperative assessment and the postoperative reviews, all performed by Prof. Dr. Alıcı personally rather than delegated.
The hospital
The standard hospital is included. A JCI-accredited private hospital with an international patient department is available as an upgrade.
Anaesthesia and theatre
General or spinal anaesthesia, the anaesthetist and theatre time are included in the package rather than billed separately.
Length of hospital stay
One overnight stay is included. If your recovery means a longer stay is safer, that is discussed with you rather than added silently.
International patient logistics
Airport, hospital and hotel transfers and a named coordinator are included. Accommodation is a package option; international flights and insurance are not included.
Follow-up
Reviews in Istanbul before you fly home and remote follow-up afterwards are included. Device activation is part of that follow-up.
Revision cases
Replacing or revising an existing implant is more complex than a first implant because of scarring, and is always quoted individually after the original operation note has been reviewed.
Peyronie’s disease and significant scarring
Curvature correction or extensive corporal fibrosis lengthens the operation and may require additional surgical steps, so these cases are quoted individually.

Complex cases
Revision surgery and Peyronie's disease
Not every case is a straightforward first implant, and it is not honest to price it as though it were.
Revision surgery — replacing or removing an existing implant — takes longer, may require additional components, and occasionally requires the removal of scar tissue or reconstruction of the erectile bodies. Where an implant is being removed because of infection, the surgical plan and the cost both change. Revision cases are quoted individually after imaging and previous operation notes have been reviewed.
Peyronie's disease with significant curvature may need additional manoeuvres at the time of implantation, such as modelling over the inflated cylinders or, less commonly, incision of the plaque with grafting. Where grafting is required the materials and theatre time are additional, and this is stated in the quotation rather than absorbed silently.

Due diligence
Questions worth asking any clinic about price
These are the questions that reveal whether two quotations are actually comparable.
- Which specific implant, by manufacturer and model, does this price include?
- Is the operating surgeon named, and will that surgeon perform the operation personally?
- Are anaesthesia, theatre, implant, hospital stay and medication all inside the figure?
- What happens, financially and clinically, if a complication requires a second operation?
- Is there a manufacturer warranty on the device, and who administers a claim?
- What follow-up is included once I have flown home, and for how long?
Questions about cost and value
What does penile implant surgery cost in Turkey?
The total depends mainly on which device is implanted, the hospital used, and the length and nature of your stay. Revision surgery and cases involving Peyronie’s disease or significant scarring are more complex and are quoted individually. You receive an itemised written quotation before you commit to anything.
How long do I need to stay in Turkey?
Plan for the preoperative consultation and tests, the surgery with one night in hospital, and a postoperative review before you fly. Your exact stay is confirmed in your treatment plan, because it depends on your case and your flights. You should not book a return flight before your dates are confirmed, and you should fly home only once your surgeon has cleared you.
Is revision surgery possible?
Yes, and it is performed for several reasons: infection, mechanical failure, a component that is uncomfortable or badly positioned, or a device that has reached the end of its working life. Revision requires assessment of the existing device and the surrounding tissue before it can be planned. If you already have an implant elsewhere and are considering revision, tell us which device was used and, if possible, send the original operation note.
Who will perform my surgery?
Prof. Dr. Bülent Alıcı performs the operation personally, and also carries out your preoperative assessment and postoperative reviews. Ask any clinic you approach to name the operating surgeon in writing before you travel.
